Why do prices vary so much between companies?

Because proposals don’t measure the same thing. Some price only the app’s interface; others include backend, admin panel, testing, publishing and support. Before comparing numbers, compare what they actually include.

The six factors

Roughly in order of impact:

• Features and screens: each means design, code and testing.
• User types: customer only, or customer, driver, merchant and admin?
• Integrations: payments, messaging, maps, third-party systems.
• Design: simple functional UI, or full branding and motion.
• Data migration: from legacy systems or Excel.
• Support and hosting: a monthly cost to plan from day one.

How to reduce cost without losing quality

Define the core problem the first release must solve and leave the “nice-to-haves” for version two, after you’ve seen real usage. Use Flutter for one app on both platforms. And prepare your content and data early to avoid delays.
